April 29 Declared as Brahmrishi Shree Kumar Swamiji Day in New York

It was witnessed for the first time in American history that a day was dedicated to a spiritual figure from India. In a unique decision by the State Senate of New York, April 29, 2011 was declared as Brahmrishi Shree Kumar Swamiji Day. Senator Jack M. Martins announced this decision along with a written Proclamation. He handed over this Proclamation to Brahmrishi Shree Kumar Swamiji during a special felicitation ceremony. Honoring Brahmrishi Shree Kumar Swamiji the Senator said, "His Holiness Brahmrishi Shree Kumar Swamiji is working towards bringing a peaceful world free from violence, hatred and strife.

Brahmrishi Shree Kumar Swamiji Honored by New York State Senate

New Delhi. May 2, 2011 has become a golden milestone in the Indian History. It was the day when a new chapter was added to the history in the land of United States of America. For the first time in the whole history of India, an Indian saint Param Pujya Brahmrishi Shree Kumar Swamiji was invited to be honored in the New York State Senate. It is the vast magnitude of his worldwide work for the human welfare that inspired the New York State Senate to felicitate Him. Brahmrishi Shree Kumar Swamiji also addressed the Senate. The New York State Senate passed a resolution in his honor.

Addressing all the members of the Senate Brahmrishi Shree Kumar Swamiji said, "For me, all human beings are my brothers and sisters. Hence, I do not call anyone my follower. I want to tell the people of America that I should not be considered as a master. I am neither a master nor a religious head. I am everybody's friend and have a simple method that you practice the Cosmic Sounds and be freed of all your pains and problems." Further He said, "There was a time that I had a scientific attitude and did not believe in ritualistic worship. To know the scientific aspects of the Cosmic Sounds, I spent 12 years to deeply experiment with them like a scientist. I was surprised with the results when I experimented with the powers of Cosmic Sounds upon people suffering with physical and mental ailments.
